Zach Braff

While multiple Golden Globe® and Emmy®-nominee Braff is best known for his roles as Dr. John (JD) Dorian on the hit NBC series, Scrubs, and as the voice of Disney’s Chicken Little, Braff is also an accomplished writer, filmmaker, and TV director.  He wrote, directed, and starred in his film Wish You Were Here, and did the same for Garden State (with fellow Stagedoor alum, Natalie Portman) and won a Grammy® for its soundtrack. Braff starred in the musical Bullets over Broadway, and is currently adapting his hit play, All New People, for film. In March 2014, he wrote a special feature for The New York Times about his experiences at Stagedoor Manor. 2023 saw the premiere of Zach’s new film, A Good Person, starring Florence Pugh.
